Project 2

Project 2A - Production Shoot

For Project 2A, we need to reshoot and edit the video clip that Mr. Martin gave us. We assigned everyone their roles and prepared for the shoot.

After shooting, we put the video clips we shoot into Google Drive to let all the members used.

I first edited the video clips into something like a movie trailer, then colour correct and colour grade the trailer.

Reflection:

For this project, I learned a lot of new things. This is my first time to experience the complete shooting process. I learned that all the position is important and they have their own responsibility. Besides, I know how to do colour collection and colour grading by using Adobe Premiere Pro.

Project 2B - TIKTOK & INSTA

For this project, we need to create a short story about ourselves, one aspect of us, or any topic that matters to us.
The video must include shot sizes below:
  • Close-Up shot
  • Frontal MCU (soft background)
  • Frontal MS (soft background)
  •  ¾ angling MCU shot (with blurry/soft foreground)
  • Low angle Wide shot
We need to do a proposal slides and have a preliminary idea of our video.

After shooting the video clip, I started editing them in Premiere Pro.

But the video I took is landscape and we need a portrait video, so I need to reshoot the video. This time, I used CapCut to editing.
